Longhorn Server Beta 3 将在几天内发布 Core版本大幅度更新
最新消息,Windows Server Code Name Longhorn已经被计划在近几天内发布给测试者,此次更新拥有众多重要的改进,特别是Longhorn Server Core核心版本将有脱胎换骨的进步,Core将提供8个服务器角色,而在2005年,Core只拥有DNS和群集等服务角色,以下是更新后的列表:
* Active Directory
* Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
* DNS
* DHCP
* File/Print
* Windows Media Services
* Terminal Services Easy Print, Remote App, and Gateway
* Virtualization (configuring a server as a dedicated host for virtual servers.) (won't be available immediately)
PowerShell 将被包含在Beta3版本中,并且Windows防火墙将默认为开启状态.
